THE HISTORIC ROCK CASTLE OF HENDERSONVILLE
This is a historic site in my hometown that hosts monthly local songwriting events as well as community-centered events open to the public.
I started working with them when I was 18, and it taught me the basics in event coverage and introduced me to some of the first musicians I had the pleasure of interacting with.
I love what they’re doing for music and am honored to have spent the time I did helping promote the events to the community.

The hours and hours I’ve spent shooting here are some of the warmest memories I have while holding a camera in my hands. The moments during the winter house concerts where the community of my hometown would come together in one of the oldest still-standing living rooms in the state, just to hear musicians play acoustic sets still gives me goosebumps. The acoustics of the historic home leave a warmth that the winter can’t touch, and is something I’ll always take with me when shooting.
